COVID-19 Updates

March 23, 2020 – The state of Ohio has issued a stay-at-home order, effective 11:59pm Monday, March 23rd for all non-essential businesses. As a supply chain supplier and distributor, we are classified as essential.

While this is changing how we are doing business, we are still operating business as usual. Most of our sales team has already been working remotely, and we have been working behind the scenes to ensure that the rest of our team has the proper tools and plans in place so that they are able to safely work from their homes while maintaining operations.

Please continue to communicate with your point of contact as normal, and feel free to reach out to them if there are any changes on your end in regards to open orders or deliveries.

March 19, 2020 – As we traverse these uncertain times together, we want to ensure that the health and safety of our employees, customers and vendor partners is our top priority. We continue to monitor the status of COVID-19, and we will continue to modify our operations as necessary to ensure we are still meeting the needs of our customers, while keeping everyone safe.

We have been in close contact with our vendors and are confident that at this time we are still able to maintain our current, and any future, order obligations.

We are currently fully staffed – including our production, sales and customer service teams – and are maintaining existing lead times.

Our sales teams will continue to utilize video conferencing instead of in-person meetings, as we have suspended any unscheduled visits. They will also stay in touch to ensure that you are still able to receive open orders or large deliveries.

Communication is crucial in these times, and we just want to ensure we are keeping you updated as we adjust our processes and operations as the situation continues to be fluid.

Lastly, thank you for being part of the Conveyer & Caster family. We’re all in this together, and we’ll come through it together too!

March 13, 2020 – Conveyer & Caster is continuing to monitor the status of COVID-19, and is making some changes to our business operations in order to protect our employees and customers.

For the foreseeable future, we will not allow any unscheduled visitors into our building. Scheduled visitors will be asked to complete a questionnaire, and access to the building may still be denied based on their travel and health history.

We are encouraging employees to maximize the usage of available technology by using phone and video conferences instead of in-person meetings.

We also have contingency plans in place to ensure that open and future orders will be processed in a timely manner. We will work with our suppliers to ensure any possible delays are communicated if they arise. While we are temporarily shifting how we are conducting business, this is being done to ensure that we are still able to minimize supply chain interruptions.

As with everyone, we are unaware as to how long these temporary changes will be in effect for, but we appreciate your patience as we work through this global pandemic.

We will post updates here as necessary.
