With the help of our engineering and sales department, we began planning out and establishing which products and solutions would work best for this customer. This specific project involved:
1. New secure storage room for tool placement.
2. New Pallet Rack System and Wire decking to help the flow of the customers picking processes.
3. A large wire cage featuring a sliding door and a service window for safety and security.
4. Multiple workbenches and cabinets to help organize employees’ specific workspaces.
5. In-plant offices that provide separated workspaces within the warehouse.
In a multi-faceted large-scale project such as this one clear communication between our team and the customer was essential. The solutions we provided them with will greatly improve their entire process flow but had the potential to disrupt their production and day-to-day operations during installation. The in-plant offices and storage room minimized the interruption compared to traditional stick build by allowing for expedited assembly. Our team made sure to have a thought-out plan when installing the custom cage and a well-designed pallet rack system to help limit disruptions. The new wire cage and pallet rack ensure easy usage and navigation for our customer and their employees.
